On March 20 Casablanca Records releases Chase And Status’ “No More idols Deluxe Edition.” Available for the first time in the USA, this package includes the critically acclaimed “No More idols” album release plus a treasure chest of remixes and videos. Chase And Status will celebrate the release with an exclusive performance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida on Sunday, March 25, with more dates scheduled for the summer 2012.

In 2011 Chase And Status reached levels rarely touched by an electronic music artist. Since it’s release in January 2011, “No More Idols” has picked up platinum certification with over 500,000 albums sold, featured six huge singles – all A listed at Radio 1 – with a combined sales of over one million; and charted at #2 in the UK and stayed in the top 10 for 10 weeks. Live, Chase And Status sold out their November 2011 UK Academy Tour months in advance while playing to over 55,000 people and sold out their spring 2011 USA tour. In all, Chase And Status were the biggest selling UK band of 2011.

Now it’s time to hit America hard with a sound that’s been tearing up the rest of the world. In addition to massive tracks “End Credits (featuring Plan B), “Let You Go (featuring Mali), “Hypest Hype (featuring Tempa T), “Blind Faith (featuring Liam Bailey),” “Time (featuring Delilah),” “Hitz” (featuring Tinie Tempah) and “Flashing Lights (featuring Sub Focus & Takura), No More Idols Deluxe Editionfeatures remixes from some of the hottest names on the global scene including Nero, Brookes Brothers, Feed Me, Trolley Snatcha, Wilkinson, 16Bit Remix and Dillon Francis.

Named by Mixmag as having “One of the most stunning live shows in dance music” and
“A heavy hearted soul-baring, rave revival” by Spin, a Chase & Status concert is something not to be missed. It’s a stadium show featuring a full live band, guest vocalists, mosh pits and massive bass. ABOUT CHASE AND STATUS

Manchester-based Chase & Status (AKA Saul Milton and Will Kennard first got their name out to the world through drum n’ bass and dropped a number of anthems for the biggest underground labels including ‘Duppy Man’ for Breakbeat Kaos (home of Pendulum’s platinum selling debut album) in 2005 and ‘The Druids’ EP for DJ Zinc’s trendsetting Bingo label a year later. Their production work for Jenna G’s ‘In Love’ the same year earned them their first award, ‘Best Single’, as voted by over 40,000 listeners for the BBC 1Xtra Drum & Bass Awards.

Despite a high volume of releases on Ram Records and constant DJing, Chase And Status managed to mastermind and release their debut album “More Than a lot” in 2008. Packed with the kind of drum and bass anthems that have helped build their reputation, it also features tracks which show the diversity of their work: such as ‘Pieces’ featuring Plan B and the Radio 1 A-List single ‘Against All Odds’ featuring Kano. One track from the album, ‘Eastern Jam’ was even spotted by Snoop Dogg who newly released it in April 2009 as ‘Snoop Dogg Millionaire’.

Since signing a major publishing deal with Universal Publishing in May 2009 and working closely with Roc Nation, the duo have been involved in some fantastic productions, most significantly with Rihanna who has been quoted as calling the pair ‘the backbone’ of her record Rated R.
