Insomniac recently announced the dates and pass information for the 20th anniversary of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas. EDC will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on June 17, 18, and 19 of 2016. This 20th anniversary edition will be celebrating individuality, art, and music Under The Electric Sky.

“Seeing the growth of EDC over the last 20 years has been an amazing experience, one I am truly grateful for,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “To commemorate two decades of incredible memories, I want to give dance music fans the journey of a lifetime. Without their passion and support, EDC would not be what it is today. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for 2016!”

EDC 2015 in June united a crowd of more than 400,000 fans from all over the world where tickets sold out in record time prior to the announcement of the annual festival’s lineup. The 1,000-acre speedway was transformed into a neon-lit playground where over 200 artists played on eight stages. Besides listening and dancing to their favorite artists, fans rode carnival rides which included EDC’s iconic ferris wheel, ate from organic and local food trucks, witnessed 72 wedding ceremonies, and experienced over 20 art installations. EDC reached millions of fans from around the world thanks to the EDC Las Vegas live stream.

On October 1st, the amended Live Entertainment Tax (LET) in the city of Las Vegas will go into effect and all passes purchased on that date or after will be subject to a 9% tax. To avoid the tax pricing and ensure passes for fans, tickets for EDC Las Vegas 2016 will go on sale earlier than in past years at noon PST on Monday, September 21st.

Single day tickets will not be available, only 3 day general admission passes at the Early Owl price of $335 + fees. 3 day VIP passes will also be available at $699 + fees where VIPs will experience view decks at stages, high-end dining options, wifi hot spots, exclusive lounges, a separate entrance for expedited entry, private restroom facilities and bars. Layaway options will be available for all ticket types.
