Insomniac announced today in Los Angeles, CA that they will be holding a 1 Year Anniversary Party in celebration of Paquale Rotella’s Night Owl Radio podcast. The party will take place on Friday, August 26th at Exchange LA, and will be presented by Rotella himself with special guest Tiësto, who will be making his debut at the venue.
“When we launched Night Owl Radio, I never imagined it’d become a #1 iTunes music podcast. Night Owl Radio has produced over 50 episodes since its inception in August of 2015. Rotella debuted Night Owl Radio on SiriusXM Electric Area as a way to debut Insomniac festival announcements, host artist interviews, premiere exclusive guest mixes and unreleased tracks as well as communicate with listeners and dance music fans around the world. The podcast is now streamed in over 160 countries across 6 continents, and has also garnered more than 2 million downloads and streams across the iTunes and SoundCloud platforms. Night Owl is among the Top 100 music podcast shows on iTunes, and in May of this year, it became the No. 1 downloaded music podcast show as listeners tuned in to the much anticipated 2016 Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas lineup announcement. The mass influx of listeners who tuned in live for the lineup announcement caused SiriusXM’s server to crash!
