T2 Trainspotting Trailer Released With Underworld’s “Born Slippy”

The first full-length trailer for T2 Trainspotting, Danny Boyle’s long awaited sequel to his 1996 cult classic Trainspotting, has finally arrived and it looks like the follow up film will be well worth the wait. The sequel features all of the boys from the original movie reuniting in current day. The follow up seems that it will be staying true to the original with a lot of sex, drugs, and madness.

T2 Trainspotting is based on Irvine Welsh’s 2002 novel P*rno, which was the follow up to his 1993 story of Edinburgh hero*n addicts. The follow up tells the story of Renton, played by Ewan McGregor in the films, as he returns to his friends in Edinburgh to start a adult film venture following his time spent in Amsterdam.

The trailer soundtrack is Underworld’s classic from the original film “Born Slippy” as well as a modern day Renton voicing over. Watch the first full-length trailer for T2 Trainspotting below, and check out the film when it is released on February 3, 2017 in the States as well as January 27 in the UK!
