The BPM Festival Announces Today 10 Additional Showcases & Releases the Trailer for ‘The BPM Festival Official Documentary: Dancing in Paradise’


The BPM Festival announced today the return of its signature events ‘Mixmag presents YA’AH MUUL I’ and ‘The BPM Festival presents YA’AH MUUL II’ at its 2017 anniversary edition in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Check out the lineups for both events below!

The BPM Festival also released today the trailer for ‘The BPM Festival Official Documentary: Dancing in Paradise’ presented by Mixmag, Handlebar Films, and Bud Light Mexico, which documents the festival since its inception a decade ago. A Handlebar Films production directed by Kevin Mackenzie, the full length documentary film highlights the festival’s history with interviews and behind the scenes views with festival directors and staff. Interviews in the documentary also include Rafael Castro, former Playa del Carmen Mayor and the Secretario General of the Municipio of Solidaridad at the time of filming, Director of Bud Light Mexico Nicolas Mamboury, and BPM artists like Apollonia, Boris, Cassy, Chus & Ceballos, Coyu, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Dusky, Ellen Allien, Gorgon City, Hector, John Digweed, Lauren Lane, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Robbie Akbal, Solomun, Stacey Pullen, and Steve Lawler. The behind the scenes views focus on the impact that The BPM Festival has had on the music scene in Playa del Carmen, Mexico as well as the world.
