The EDM film ‘What We Started’ Featuring Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Afrojack, Tiësto + More!


The documentary, ‘What We Started’, details the birth, resurgence, and history of electronic dance music. The executive produced film by Pete Tong features the careers of electronic dance music artists like Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Moby, David Guetta, Afrojack, Paul Oakenfold, Seth Troxler, and Tiësto. The film also features Russel Faibisch, the co-founder of Ultra Music Festival, who shares his story on how the 20 year history of UMF has helped shape the dance music scene. The film includes cameos from commercial artists like Ed Sheeran and Usher who discuss how electronic dance music has reached mainstream music genres.

‘What We Started’ will be released in theaters, on iTunes, and On Demand on March 23rd. The film will have a red-carpet premiere and Q&A for media as well as fans the day before on March 22nd at The Regal South Beach with artists Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Tiësto, and more. ‘What We Started’ is available now for preorder on iTunes here , and checkout a clip below!
