3 dead after Hard Summer… is this the end of raves in SoCal???

This is becoming a broken record but again very sad news – 3 dead after Hard Summer this weekend in Fontana.

According to the LA Times: “One of the people who died was found unresponsive, and emergency crews attempted CPR. Another experienced a seizure, and the third is believed to have been suffering from chest pain.”

The three victims are Derek Lee, 22, of San Francisco; Alyssa Dominguez, 21, of San Diego; and Roxanne Ngo, 22, of Chino Hills.

The cause of the deaths was unknown but would be investigated.

After Hard was moved from Pomona to Fontana due to 2 deaths at last summer’s event, we fear that this may be the so called ‘straw that broke the camel’s back” for continued large scale events in Southern California as the bad publicity resulting from these tragic deaths may convince authorities to no longer allow these events here.
