Fiesta Hotel Group has announced the opening of a new luxury complex in Ibiza, replacing the existing Fiesta Playa d’en Bossa with The Ushuaïa Tower; a spectacular eight floor property which forms part of an ambitious expansion project to extend the existing Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The Ushuaïa Tower, located directly next door to the existing Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, has been developed by Fiesta Hotel Group in direct response to the increasing demand for premium style accommodation, particularly since the opening of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel in 2011.The new Ushuaïa complex will comprise two buildings The Ushuaïa Club (currently known as Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel) and The Ushuaïa Tower, scheduled to open in June 2013.Suited to those looking for the Ushuaïa experience but with a little more exclusivity, The Ushuaïa Tower guests will have full access to all the services of The Ushuaïa Club but will also be able to enjoy all the benefits of a luxury hotel. With an avant-garde design in keeping with the current style of Ushuaïa, The Ushuaïa Tower will house 181 suites, complimenting the existing 236 rooms. The rooms and suites will be divided into ten categories and decorated with a range of natural materials mixed with high-tech functionality. All the new suites come with their own exterior terrace and Jacuzzi and have an innovative LED system, enabling guests to change the room lighting according to their mood, as well as plug-in aromatherapy and much more. Some of the more unusual suites include ‘The Fashion Victim Suite’, with a futuristic circular designed bed, created exclusively for Ushuaïa, ‘The Anything Can Happen Suite’ complete with a 50 inch flat screen TV and a exquisite pillow and sheet menu and ‘The I’m On Top of the World’, an exclusive room of 166 metres squared, located on the eighth floor, with a large living area, two bathrooms, a dressing room, butler service, private check-in, airport transfers and a special treatment for two at the Ushuaïa spa. The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel complex will offer a range of restaurant options, including the already established Minami, now considered the best Japanese restaurant on the island, and the Ushuaïa Beach Club which serves up a range of fresh fish, shellfish and Mediterranean cuisine, twinned with an enviable cocktail menu and wine list. The new infinity pool at The Ushuaïa Tower will look directly out to sea and will boast a new restaurant/bar aptly called Infinity with two floors so that guests can enjoy drinks and light meals either in the pool or on the beach. The Last Call Bar will be located on the ground floor of The Ushuaïa Tower and will offer an extensive cocktail menu at any time of day, whilst The Xaloc Sky Lounge by Ushuaïa will be the first roof-terrace bar in Playa d’en Bossa offering spectacular panoramic views over the Mediterranean coastline. The Ushuaïa Tower will also have a range of high tech installations and flexible spaces, ideal for products launches, meetings and events. The front of the hotel will also match the Ushuaïa philosophy, based on the enjoyment of outside space, with a decorative and intricate floral design crawling up the façade.Juan José Calvo, Executive Commercial Director of Fiesta Hotel Group says, “The launch of The Ushuaïa Tower puts Ushuaïa on a whole different scale in terms of combining leisure holidays with an upscale and innovative hotel proposition. This new opening will only strengthen our position as the world’s best complex for music lovers and party goers.”
