Over 1,400 people made it over to Dim Mak Studios in Hollywood on the warm spring night of March 2, 2013, to see local LA tech-house dj Trent Cantrelle spin 5 hours to a packed house. Taking it back to old-school style where the emphasis is more on the music rather than the dj, it felt in the club that the patrons were there to dance first and foremost. The club was decorated with a dark and foreboding theme not to mention a large creepy illuminated face with shifting eyes keeping watch over the dance floor. Adding to the atmosphere were patrons dressed as in club kid meets steampunk attire! Local personality Nigel Ficke was on hand as well to add to the theater. Trent played for approximately 5 hours after Freddie Be handled opening duties. Based on the turn out, the excellent music we heard while there and the vibe of the crowd, this party was a hit and we highly recommend you seek out the next installment at Dim Mak on May 11th!
