The kick-off on Sankeys Ibiza’s 2013 season is just a week away. Set to be the club’s biggest year to date as it runs seven nights a week with cutting-edge residencies from Hypercolour, Diynamic Neon Nights, Fuse, dirtybird, Flying Circus, Carnival and VIVa Warriors, the extended opening weekend of parties will set the tone for the season ahead and give everyone their first glimpse of what Sankeys 2013 is all about.

Going down on Thursday and Friday will be the club’s official opening parties, featuring the cream of club’s residents including Solomun, Steve Lawler, David August, Enzo Siragusa and Finnebassen, plus special guests Nina Kraviz, Cajmere, Hot Since 82, Waze & Odyssey and many more.

Departure drops on May 25th. The island will also get its first highly anticipated taste of Flying Circus on May 28th, as Audiofly bring their future-facing series of parties to the island for a residency at Sankeys in 2013. In keeping with the tradition of combining good friends and good music to create perfect party vibes, the guys have invited Detroit legend Carl Craig to play the night, alongside the likes of Lee Burridge, Martin Buttrich and Canadian duo Blond:ish among others, who are a rising force in house and techno circles thanks to on-point cuts on labels such as Get Physical and Noir Music and an infectious performance presence.

Returning to the island for their first full residency in 2013, having been responsible for some of Sankeys Ibiza’s best parties, Fuse is a London clubbing institution and now respected label led by Enzo Siragusa and Seb Zito, and is joining the extended opening week and bringing residents Rich NxT and Rossko in toe on May 29th. Anyone who’s been to a Fuse party will understand why their vibe is spoken about in hushed tones: it’s their gimmick-free philosophy of combining a dark room, with extended sets from their quality stable of residents, played on the best soundsystem on the island that always makes them so special.

Rounding out the week on May 30th, is a showcase from Paco Osuna’s white-hot Mindshake label in conjunction with the soon-to-be-launched Serkal imprint. This will be the first of three parties scheduled for the summer.
