New York City has seen plenty of big nights, but this summer, Brooklyn is getting two of them back to back. EMW Presents and The Bowery Presents have announced that Sammy Virji — the man most responsible for bringing UK Garage roaring back into the global conversation — will headline a two-night open-air event at the Brooklyn Army Terminal on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, 2026. It’s a cornerstone moment in his North America Tour 2026 Part 1, and by every measure, it looks set to be something genuinely special.
Virji arrives in New York on the back of a year that would make most artists dizzy. DJ Mag named him their Best Producer of 2025, he pulled record-breaking crowds at Coachella, and tracks like “If U Need It” and his Skepta collaboration “Cops & Robbers” have cemented his reputation as the genre’s most exciting architect. Where some producers ride a wave, Virji seems to be the one generating it — and his live shows carry that same unstoppable momentum, earning a devoted following for their infectiously joyful, all-smiles energy.
The setting couldn’t be more fitting. The Brooklyn Army Terminal — a former military base turned industrial campus perched on the Sunset Park waterfront — brings a raw, warehouse atmosphere that’s miles away from the sterile polish of a conventional venue. Against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline across the water, the whole thing promises to feel like a proper New York summer moment.
Each night brings its own supporting lineup. Friday sees Virji joined by X CLUB. and 33Below, while Saturday pairs him with the brilliant Sam Gellaitry alongside a returning 33Below. Two nights, two distinct flavors, and one of the most talked-about names in dance music holding it all together.
