The Hydra pres. Shane Parish at ICA London – October 25, 2026
October 25 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
American performer and composer Shane Parish presents an intimate in-the-round performance of his album Autechre Guitar, a record that arguably shouldn’t exist given how far apart Autechre’s world and Parish’s world sit. With just six strings, he captures the duo’s unparseable rhythms, cryptic riffs, and shapeshifting timbres, showing how porous the boundaries between genres and mediums can be.
The ICA makes an ideal London debut for the piece, as Parish invites listeners into a process of translation and interpretation, making the unfathomably difficult feel effortless. Presented by The Hydra.
6:30PM to 9:30PM.
