Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest electronic music festival and industry summit, has dropped its first wave of 2025 artists, hinting at another massive year for dance culture. Over 250 artists are already locked in, including heavyweights like Black Coffee, Hardwell, and James Hype. But the biggest curveball? UK grime icon Skepta, stepping into house music territory with his Mas Tiempo imprint, one of the lineup’s most unexpected moves.
Rather than sticking to one corner of the genre, ADE’s early roster spans techno, house, and everything in between. Names like Clara Cuvé, Confidence Man, Dave Clarke, DVS1, Eris Drew, Flava D, Helena Hauff, Jennifer Loveless, Job Jobse, Kettama, KI/KI, Narciss, NIKS, Octo Octa, Oliver Heldens, and Patrick Mason show just how global this year’s edition is shaping up to be.
The programming leans into Amsterdam’s venue diversity, turning the city into a clubber’s playground. Black Coffee and Klangkuenstler will take over the massive Ziggo Dome, while South African star DBN Gogo opens the festival at Melkweg with a high-energy set. Skepta’s Mas Tiempo showcase lands at Shelter, and techno veteran Dave Clarke marks a milestone with “20 Years of Dave Clarke Presents.” Job Jobse fans can expect an extended four-hour session at Hemkade, a nod to ADE’s commitment to giving artists real room to breathe.
From October 22–26, Amsterdam once again transforms into a nonstop circuit of beats, basements, and big-room energy. Expect over 3,000 artists across 200+ venues, from intimate clubs to sprawling arenas. The lineup’s breadth underscores a bigger story, ADE isn’t just a festival, it’s the pulse of a culture that thrives on reinvention.
What really cements ADE as a must for the global electronic community is its dual identity: part festival, part industry think tank. The ADE Pro Conference returns as the hub for networking, tech showcases, and panel sessions where the next big ideas take shape. Skepta will also speak at ADE Pro, bridging grime and electronic worlds in a way few artists have attempted before.
With more than 100 events already on the books, and plenty more to come, ADE 2025 is shaping up to be a year that sparks conversations well beyond the dancefloor. Individual tickets are on sale now via the official program. As the full lineup drops over the next few months, one thing feels certain: this October, Amsterdam won’t just host the scene, it’ll define it.
