The world premiere of ÆDEN will have to wait — at least until Weekend 2
In a gut-punch moment for electronic music fans gathered at the Empire Polo Club tonight, Anyma’s April 10 Weekend 1 performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was cancelled due to high winds impacting stage production.

Coachella notified attendees in an official schedule update shared approximately 15 minutes after Anyma’s scheduled midnight start time. The statement from the festival was direct: “Due to strong wind conditions affecting Anyma’s stage build, he is unable to perform tonight. Coachella and Anyma have made this decision together with your safety as the priority.”
The cancellation stings especially hard given what was on the line. The Genesys producer was slated to present the world premiere of his new live show, ÆDEN, from the festival’s main Coachella Stage, a highly anticipated debut that had been generating buzz for months. His performances blur the line between DJ set, live production, and full-scale visual installation, with music, visuals, and lighting all synced down to the second. The ÆDEN project was expected to take that immersive approach even further, inspired by art history and futuristic themes, designed as a kind of “digital renaissance” with large-scale visuals, character-driven storytelling, and a heavy emphasis on immersion. (Time Out)
His recent run at Sphere in Las Vegas set an incredibly high bar, blending electronic music with cinematic visuals and narrative-driven sequences making tonight’s cancellation all the more deflating for the tens of thousands who stayed up to witness the next chapter.
The silver lining? Anyma has a second performance scheduled for April 17 during Weekend 2.For those who were on the grounds tonight and for the fans watching the livestream at home that date just became the most important one on the calendar.
Safety comes first, always. But the desert winds giveth and taketh away and tonight, they took away what was shaping up to be one of the most talked-about sets of Coachella 2026.
Weekend 2 of Coachella 2026 takes place April 17–19. Anyma’s ÆDEN set is currently still scheduled for April 17.
