Berlin Clubs Not Expected to Return to Normal Until 2022

Pamela Schobeß, told the Deutsche Presse-Agentur that clubs “are the first to be closed and the last to be allowed to reopen,”

She added that “It cannot go from zero to one hundred” and that she does not expect the city’s club scene to return in full until the end of 2022.

In addition she noted that club owners will need government support to continue and reopen.

Techno pioneer Dimitri Hegemann from “Tresor” gave a more optimistic tone: “We operate precisely and calculate very hard. We are assuming further aid programs and hope that the sun will shine again in July.”
