In somewhat shocking news to the local dance music community in Denver, Beta Nightclub, a leader of the dance music scene for many years, will close its doors the first week of January.
No specific reason was given for the impending closure. The statement issued by the venue (see below) did not give a reason for the closure and celebrated all that they brought to the Denver area over the years.
Once Beta shuts its doors this leaves Temple Denver is the main local venue to hear dance music.
