It has been a long time since we have heard anything new from Calvin Harris, but maybe that was because he was working hard on a big hit all this time. A week ago Calvin Harris and The Weeknd both shared suggestive Instagram images that pointed towards a forthcoming collab.
The suspicious images were in fact correct and both major artists just released their new track together called “Over Now.” The song is a classical smooth R&B breakup jam with funky chords and shimmering synths. This perfect combination allows the Weekend to deliver lyrics in which he tells his ex to stop calling and that they are finished.
“Over Now” is the Scottish producer’s first release as Calvin Harris since his 2019 and it is a huge hit already!
