Carl Cox has announced a twelve city North America tour in the new year where he will be playing alongside some of his most talented friends. Cox has not done a North America tour of this size in almost 15 years.
The tour will be called “Carl Cox Invites” where the concept revolves around looking forward to going out and anticipating the day as it approaches. Cox wants to bring that feeling and energy back with his friends. “Carl Cox Invites” will have longer set times for each artist at venues selected to enhance the clubbers experience with light and sound.
Carl Cox stated the following:
“We’re expecting a lot from ourselves on this one. I think all of us want that amazing feeling where the dance floor and the DJ are one. The artists that will join me on this tour understand this because they were clubbers first, and I know we have something very special when we play together. I’m excited to get back on the road and see what the US has in store for us!”
March is also the beginning of festival season and Cox will be headlining EDC Mexico, CRSSD in San Diego and Ultra Miami where Cox will be performing three nights on the Resistance Stage inside the Carl Cox Megastructure.
The tour and festivals will see Cox travel across North America from coast to coast with stops in Mexico, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, San Diego, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and Washington. The “Carl Cox Invites” tour will end with two nights in Brooklyn taking over the Avant Gardner venue with a special “House Sessions” finale with Danny Tenaglia.
