According to Rolling Stone magazine, the April 2021 version of Coachella will be pushed to October 2021 due to likelihood the event cannot be held without the risk of a substantial amount of attendees not having COVID-19 antibodies or taken a vaccine.
Citing talent agencies who have artists booked to play the event, the announcement was set to be made over Labor Day as well as later in September. The delay appears to be related to confirming the talent can appear in October as well as coordinate with the other major festivals planned to take place in September and October 2021.
Fingers crossed we will see Coachella return in 2021!
