Daft Punk Performing with the Weeknd at 2017 Grammys!

The Recording Academy announced today that Daft Punk and the Weeknd will be performing together at this year’s 59th Annual Grammy Awards. This year’s Grammy ceremony will broadcast live from LA’s Staples Center at 8pm (EST) on February 12th on CBS, and will be hosted by James Corden.

The shy and elusive Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk never toured after their 2013 multi-Grammy award winning album Random Access Memories, so this will be their first live performance since their appearance at the 2014 Grammys when they were joined by Pharrell and music legends Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder. Daft Punk collaborated with the Weeknd on two tracks for his latest album, “Starboy” and “I Feel It Coming”. The Starboy album was released after this year’s Grammy deadline, so we’re sure that we will see nominations for both Daft Punk and the Weeknd at next year’s Grammys!
