Day One of Electric Zoo Cancelled, Remaining Days in Jeopardy?

Today just 3 hours before the doors were scheduled to open, Electric Zoo announced on their social media accounts that the event would not take place today, Friday September 1st.

The notice as well as email sent to ticket holders indicated that all would be refunded for Friday either for single-day tickets or one day of a 3-day ticket.

EZoo blamed the delay on ‘supply chain issues’ however some in the industry we have spoken to question this and believe the issue to be a money issue and unpaid bills.

We shall see what the rest of the weekend entails. For the many thousands of fans who travelled to NYC this weekend for EZoo as well as locals planning a great time, we do hope the event does take place on Saturday and Sunday.

The photograph below shows the current state of the main stage.
