Departure Festival in Playa del Carmen cancelled due to Covid

Yesterday the eagerly awaited Departure Festival in Playa del Carmen was set to take place with an all-star lineup of house and techno DJs.

Unfortunately, as the start time came and went and the promoters (Brooklyn Mirage/Pollen) updates attendees that the event would start today due to the area being moved into the ‘yellow’ Covid warning status.

Just now the sad news that the event will now not take place was announced.  Top talent booked at the event included Adam Beyer, Dixon, Black Coffee, Camelphat, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Nora en Pure, Nicole Moudaber, Sven Vath and the Martinez Brothers, among others.

News on refunds has not yet been provided but will be forthcoming.
