It’s been over a year since Diplo made the jump to country-EDM with his project Diplo Presents: Thomas Wesley. Since then, he’s collaborated with the artists from Zac Brown to the Joe Bros to Young Thug. The project has been a rollercoaster ride from the start, with the definitive peak as of yet being the monumental success of “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Just when we thought Diplo was ditching the cowboy hat for good, he’s back again with another country-inspired album. In fact, this is just the beginning, or the first chapter, if you will. Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley, Chapter 1: Snake Oil is the name, and another music video from the LP has been unveiled. The video follows the release of the video for “Dance With Me” ft. Thomas Rhett and Young Thug, and “Heartless” ft. Julia Michaels & Morgan Wallen. Watch it below:
