Drumsheds, a New 15,000-Capacity Venue, Set to Open in London this September

London is eagerly awaiting the grand opening of Drumsheds, an impressive new venue with a capacity to accommodate up to 15,000 dance music enthusiasts. Set to open its doors in September, Drumsheds is poised to become one of the British capital’s most significant entertainment destinations.  The venue is from the Broadwick Live, the group behind Printworks, the Field Day festival parties and Beans.

Drumsheds is already generating buzz as the venue promises to offer a large space that can accommodate large-scale events while ensuring optimal sound and visual production. The venue was formerly an Ikea store.

Simeon Aldred, director of strategy, said.

“Broadwick’s mission has always been to build brands that deliver unrivalled, live experiences that create real impact, We are proud to announce DRUMSHEDS, set to be London’s most impactful cultural space of its kind, set across 608,000 sqft in North London. We want Drumsheds, like all the spaces we create, to be new centres of cultural gravity that provide the basis for human connection. A connection that people crave now more than ever.”

The location of Drumsheds adds to its allure. Situated in London, a city renowned for its vibrant music scene and cultural diversity, the venue is conveniently located for both local residents and international visitors. Its accessibility and strategic positioning make it an ideal destination for music lovers from all corners of the globe.

With a massive capacity of 15,000, Drumsheds is primed to host a wide range of events, from high-profile concerts to festivals, providing a platform for both established artists and emerging talents.

To be equipped with cutting-edge technology, Drumsheds aims to deliver top-tier audio and visual production, ensuring that every performance is a multisensory extravaganza. This exciting addition to the city’s repertoire of venues further solidifies its reputation as a global cultural capital and a thriving hub for live music.

Drumsheds is set to continue the underground dance music experience after the closing of Printworks, leaving an indelible mark on the city’s vibrant music culture for years to come.
