The online and NYC DJ & Production School, Dubspot, is set to open its doors to students this June at its new Hollywood location. The cutting-edge facility located at 6515 Sunset Boulevard will feature the following roster of instructors: DJ Rap, Luca Pretolesi, DJ Reborn, DJ Endo, and Dynamix.
DJ Rap has collaborated with talents like BT, Erick Morillo, Hans Zimmer, and Hybird. She will be in the classroom teaching both new and experiences DJs.
Luca Pretolesi has been working as a sound engineer for the last 20 years who specializes in mixing and mastering electronic dance music. He is known as the “Producer’s Producer” and worked with major artists like Steve Aoki, Savoy, Diplo, and Major Lazer. Students will be taking his Mixing and Mastering course.
Dynamix is known as one of the DJs on VH1’s Master of the Mix and for his consecutive titles in the Red Bull Thr3style DJ Competition as well as constantly touring headlining parties throughout the US. Dynamix will bring his open-format style of DJing to the classroom for his students.
Dubspot NYC DJ instructors, DJ Endo and DJ Reborn, will be heading west to join the Hollywood faculty. The two instructors have over 10 years of teaching experience between them. DJ Endo has opened for artists like Dubfire, Pete Tong, and Steve Lawler. DJ Reborn has performed at private and public events for major talents like Metallica, Maxell, Russell Simmons, and Lauryn Hill.
The Hollywood school’s curriculum will be comparable to NYC’s where it will offer courses in DJing, Music Production with Ableton Live, Music Production with Logic, Music Foundations, Mixing and Mastering, and Sound Design. Enroll today to become a DJ!
