Electronic Music Sets Sail: Labyrinth on the Thames Transforms Historic Naval College in London with Six Epic Shows

The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is preparing to host one of London’s most ambitious electronic music series this summer. Labyrinth on the Thames is a six-date music series set within the spectacular grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Greenwich, bringing world-class DJs and live acts to one of London’s most iconic riverside locations.

A Historic Venue Meets Modern Beats

The setting couldn’t be more spectacular. The Old Royal Naval College, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the late 17th century, provides a breathtaking backdrop where electronic music will pulse against centuries of maritime history. The dates take place between Thursday 31st July and Sunday 10th August, transforming the Thames-side grounds into an open-air electronic music paradise.

Star-Studded Lineup Across Two Epic Weekends

Weekend One: Black Coffee and Empire of the Sun Command the Thames

The series launches with South African house music legend Black Coffee, who will perform across two sold-out nights. Due to unprecedented demand both July 31st and August 1st have sold out, testament to the DJ’s massive following and the unique appeal of this historic venue.

Black Coffee’s Friday, August 1st show features a supporting lineup including Maz (BR), Manoo, and Fiona Kraft. Known for his deep, soulful house sound that has captivated audiences from Ibiza to his native South Africa, Black Coffee will bring his signature style to the Thames, creating what promises to be an unforgettable fusion of African house rhythms and British maritime heritage.

The first weekend reaches its crescendo with Empire of the Sun’s first London performance in over six years on August 2nd. The visionary Australian electronic band comprising Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore have been making waves across the world with phenomenal live shows and anthemic smash hits for the last decade. Empire of the Sun is set to bring their spellbinding live show to the beautiful Old Royal Naval College, with their immersive performance harmonizing with the venue’s architecture and riverside setting. This sold-out show represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness their theatrical electronic spectacle in one of London’s most magnificent settings.

Weekend Two: Solomun’s Epic Journey and Anjunadeep’s Melodic Mastery

August 8th sees Solomun land at the stunning Old Royal Naval College for a 5-hour set on the edge of the Thames, running from 2pm to 11pm. This extended set represents a London summer exclusive for the Bosnian-German DJ who has redefined the art of electronic music storytelling.

Renowned for his ability to craft immersive musical journeys, Solomun has redefined the art of DJing through his Solomun +1 residency at Pacha Ibiza. His five-hour Thames-side performance promises to take audiences through an emotional and sonic journey, from afternoon sun to riverside twilight.

August 9th brings FISHER, who will perform with his curated electrifying lineup and lighting show, produced by High Scream – the creative force behind his legendary Hi Ibiza residency. The Australian tech-house powerhouse is known for his high-energy sets that consistently pack dance floors worldwide, making him a perfect addition to this prestigious riverside series.

The series concludes on Sunday, August 10th with Anjunadeep Open Air taking over the iconic Old Royal Naval College. Following last summer’s monumental sold-out show in London, Anjunadeep Open Air returns to home turf, bringing an amazing day of the absolute best in melodic house music to the Thames. A timeless UK dance label takes over a timeless UK location, creating the perfect finale to this extraordinary series.

Anjunadeep has built a reputation for curating some of the finest melodic house and techno experiences worldwide, and their Thames-side showcase promises to deliver their signature blend of emotional depth and dancefloor energy against the backdrop of Greenwich’s architectural splendor.

More Than Just Music
