On April 5th, AVALON Hollywood’s CONTROL Friday will be hosting a pair of heavy-hitting dance duos. Crisis Era and GLD will be your headliners for a night of hardstyle, trap, and techno fun, featuring support from Orphin, HYPEITUP, Risk-E, and TLUXX.
Crisis Era – made up of Matt Bekh and Silas Wind – gained traction last year with the split release of their first studio EP titled ‘No Filter.’ Since then, the Vancouver-born DJs have quickly risen to become one of Canada’s top duos. Advanced production ability and captivating showmanship has made Crisis Era one of the most praised live acts in the hardstyle scene.
AVALON will also play host to GLD, the self-described ‘electronic rock band from hell’, as they kick off their ‘All GLD Everything Tour’ at this edition of CONTROL. The duo is currently hot off the release of their new single ‘Worst Fears,’ an innovative dubstep-hardstyle mashup.
Crisis Era and GLD will be joined by a roster of local supporting talent. HYPEITUP and Risk-E complement our headliners perfectly with trap-inspired beats and hard bass drops. Orphin maintains the vibe with a unique techno-trap sound, and TLUXX switches things up with creative remixes and feel-good house tracks.
