A fire has caused severe damage to the Warung Beach Club located in Brazil. On February 22nd, videos of the blaze spreading across the popular club situated in the Itajaí municipality of Santa Catarina surfaced online.
According to an initial report by G1, the Santa Catarina fire department, who arrived at the site shortly after 10 AM (GMT-3), has confirmed that there were no injuries.
Warung has issued a statement that while the fire destroyed the Beach Club’s front dancefloor, the surrounding portions of the club and other area’s (Garden dancefloor and office) were not burned.
We hope that the initial statement is a fair description of the damage to the club and that it will be able to reopen shortly.
