Unfortunately the thousands of emo music fans who travelled this weekend for the When We Were Young festival found out this morning that today’s show as been cancelled due to 20-30 MPH wind all day and expected gusts up to 60 MPH.
The show was cancelled due to safety concerns as the large stages can collapse or send pieces flying in heavy winds.
It is unknown yet if tomorrow’s show will take place. Full refunds are being offered for today and some bands are attempting to line up last minutes shows as Las Vegas music venues.
