The success of Flume’s sophomore album Skin has motivated him to release new music. The Australian recently announced that he will be releasing the first Skin Companion EP this November exclusively on vinyl to indie record shops around the world. We can also expect more unreleased tracks other than the upcoming EP from Flume that were made around the same time as Skin. Besides the upcoming releases, Flume is planning his third album that will be more based on samples, which makes him very busy as he is still on his Skin world tour.
Flume said to his fans, “I’ve been overwhelmed by the support you guys have shown for Skin over the past few months and I wanted to share some more music that was written around the same time. The first Skin Companion EP is a 12″ of songs we are releasing in November. It will be available on vinyl at lots of great indie record stores around the world – Rough Trade, Phonica, Turntable Lab, Oye, Amoeba, Juno, Boomkat, Red Eye and many more.”
