Future Music Festival in Australia says goodbye

Blaming slow ticket sales for their recent 2015 shows, promoter Mushroom Group has pulled the plug on their travelling festival in Australia. Blaming low ticket sales and US dj fees, the promoters indicated the festival was no longer financially viable. The festival took place in late February and early March in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Talent Drake, Avicii, The Prodigy, Afrojack and Martin Garrix. The cancellation of this festival does not bode well for the festival scene in Australia with the Big Day Out festival skipping 2015 and Soundwave putting on a smaller event this year.
