Gary Richards, the AMF (short for ‘All My Friends’) founder and President of LiveStyle, is launching a weekly event at the Globe Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles beginning on Friday, May 4th with Matthew Dear. Other artists that are slated to play the new weekly are Maya Jane Coles, Mathew Jonson, Dennis Ferrer, and Gaiser. A complete list of upcoming artists is available here.
The former founder and President of HARD said, “I have a long history producing events in Los Angeles, but never been part of a weekly. The Globe is a unique venue in downtown and I could not be happier with this partnership!” The owner of the Globe Theatre, Eric Choi, had the following to say, “In 1991, I dedicated my clubs in Paris, France to celebrating the electronic dance music movement, featuring some of today’s biggest DJs. When I came to Los Angeles in search of a venue that had infinite possibilities for clubs, concerts and special events, the Globe Theatre gave me the goose bumps.”
