Hakkasan’s Wet Republic in Vegas Revamps for Summer 2020

The 54,500 square foot monster pool club at the top of MGM promises an even more epic season of poolside partying with its multimillion dollar facelift, including new plunge pools and cabanas, a revamped culinary program, and a reimagined stage and audio-visual experience. Technical upgrades consist of a 4,000 square foot LED display and a 13-foot interactive cube above the stage, and a cutting-edge sound system used at the likes of the fellow Hakkasan-owned club OMNIA, as well as major festivals Coachella and Tomorrowland.

“WET REPUBLIC is a renowned daylife leader not only in Las Vegas but around the world,” said Derek Silberstein, executive vice president of nightlife for Hakkasan Group. “Our reputation is anchored by crafting remarkable experiences for our guests. The revamp of WET REPUBLIC and its impressive new offerings allow us to continue to do so on an unprecedented level.”

This summer already boasts a star-studded lineup, including Tiësto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and Illenium. Tickets to Wet Republic’s summer party series go on sale Feb 4.

In other news, the Venetian’s Tao Beach will be closed for the upcoming season in anticipation of their own makeover, to relaunch in 2021. Plans for the Italian-themed pool club included a remodeled and expanded pool deck, as well as the debut of new restaurant from 50 Eggs Hospitality Group.
