What is a surprise however, is that with her label, MOOD Records, having just launched less than a year ago, has already booked the team a MOOD showcase at BPM. A good start indeed.” The debut, hosted by
Stereo, will see Moudaber alongside Chris Liebing and Tom Peters on Thursday, January 9.
The Nigerian-born London techno producer has seen a whirlwind year with the launch of her own record label and a string of widely acclaimed releases including ‘Growler’ EP by Just B, ‘Icon’ EP by Carlo Lio & The Junkies, and her own ‘Give Me Body’ EP remixed by Anja Schneider. Moudaber tells THUMP, “The ethos of MOOD is house and techno, I don’t want to limit it to one genre only, I play across the board and my label will reflect that. I have releases and mixes coming out from established and up and coming artists too, it’s more of a creative process for me than anything else.
