Insomniac announced yesterday their first ever Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) China. EDC China will debut at Shanghai International Music Park on Sunday, April 29th and Monday, April 30th. Insomniac will be bringing to the heart of Shanghai three stages, theatrical performers, major dance music artists with laser and light displays. China marks the second location on the Asian continent where EDC will be bringing their global festival.
“To bring EDC halfway around the world is a milestone for our entire Insomniac family,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “China marks EDC’s sixth international location, and I’m excited to connect and create beautiful new moments with the country’s passionate and ever-growing dance music community.”
Insomniac will be shipping overseas for the inaugural EDC China the kineticTEMPLE, circuitGROUNDS, bassPOD, and Boombox Art Car. Fans will experience performance artists on the festival grounds that include brass monkeys, sparklepops, marching band stilts and majorettes.
