Insomniac and C3 Presents recently announced 150+ artists for the debut of the Middlelands Festival set to take place at the Texas Renaissance Festival Fair Grounds on May 5-7, 2017. Fans attending the medieval-themed music and camping festival can expect to see artists that include Alison Wonderland, Bassnectar, Bonobo (Live), Crystal Castles, Danny Brown, Galantis, Jurassic 5, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Phantogram, Rae Sremmurd, and Seven Lions.

As EDM Life reported in November, the Middlelands Festival will be the first music festival hosted by the Texas Renaissance Festival Fair Grounds. The Middlelands Festival will feature a Middle Ages theme with five stages, wooded villages, 60 acres of landscapes, and multi-genre artists. The festival will boast kingdoms, castles, rides, art, and costumed Middlelands performers who will bring the Middle Ages to life!
Campers will come together to form color-coded kingdoms for a campwide competition of a series of Middlelands themed games. Duels will take place at the center of the Middlelands campgrounds in Conqueror’s Court everyday prior to the start of the festival, and the kingdom with the most wins will be crowned as the Inaugural Champions of Middlelands!
