Insomniac launches EDSea, an EDC cruise

The innovative live event and festival producer Insomniac has teamed up with Vibee and Sixthman to launch EDSea. As part of its itinerary for November 4, 2023, EDSea will visit Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Joy. Bringing the Electric Daisy Carnival from land to sea, the cruise will feature eight marine-themed stages featuring top electronic music acts. Check out a sneak peek of EDSea.

The itinerary for EDSea over four nights:

  • Nov. 4 – Departure from Miami, Florida
  • Nov. 5 – Day at Sea
  • Nov. 6 – Nassau, Bahamas
  • Nov. 7 – Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas
  • Nov. 8 – Return to Miami, Florida

The Norwegian Joy, a world-class ship, offers five cabin options for reservation, including Interior Rooms, Ocean View Rooms, Balcony Rooms, Suites, and the highly exclusive Haven Suites. These premium accommodations are located on the top decks of the ship and include personal butler service, 24-hour concierge service, and a private sun deck. Cabin reservations for the inaugural EDSea can be made during the presale period beginning January 17, with the general on-sale beginning January 27 if cabins remain. Cabins can be reserved with a $100/person deposit at EDSea.com.

Sailing on the Norwegian Joy also offers a thrilling dining and entertainment experience at sea, with the 167,000-ton ship featuring a two-level go-kart track, galactic laser tag, and Aqua Park, as well as a wide variety of culinary options. EDSea will transform many of the existing spaces across the cruise ship’s 15 decks into themed offerings for specialty dining, late-night dance parties, and art installations similar to Electric Daisy Carnival events. From start to finish, EDSea will seamlessly translate the mesmerizing, natural side of EDC into an aquatic, sea life paradise. More information on the lineup, Nassau & Great Stirrup Cay shore excursions, and the full EDSea experience will be announced in the coming months.

Electric Daisy Carnival has continued to drive exceptional demand nationally and abroad, having held festivals in eight countries across four continents. EDC Las Vegas, the festival’s flagship event, welcomes 500,000 attendees annually each May. Insomniac, the company behind EDC, continues to dominate the electronic dance music landscape year-after-year. With a focus on innovation, Insomniac endeavors to break the mold of typical events beyond the traditional music festival experience. EDSea follows the recent announcement of Hotel EDC taking over Resorts World’s Las Vegas Hilton Tower this May.
