After the recent tragic events in Houston, Travis Scott has been reportedly removed from the 2022 lineup of Coachella. New headliners are to include Kanye West and Billie Eilish. The Swedish House Mafia are said to the the 3rd headliner assuming another major name is not booked.
According to TMZ. Rage Against the Machine is no longer scheduled to headline leading to the 2 headliner replacements.
At this point the festival is planned to take place this April assuming the current Covid-19 surge ends in the near future. The dates for this year’s festival are planned for April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022.
Also of interest is that Goldenvoice has backtracked on its vaccination requirement, reverting back to only requiring a negative recent test to attend the event.
