After working under the auspices of Red Light Management for the past four years, Moe Shalizi who has brought his client Marshmello to the elite level of EDM djs and producers announced today he is leaving Red Light to launch his own management company, The Shalizi Group.
He will bring all of his current 10 employees as well as his talent including Jauz, Slushii, Southside, Ookay, Ghastly and Sikdope.
Shalizi told Forbes:
“The business has grown significantly, and I’m just at a place where I’ve just felt like I kind of outgrew the situation I was in. It just seemed like this was the year to do it.”
The move is the next big step for the manager who recently was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the music industry.
