NAMM 2023 Review

This past spring NAMM returned to Anaheim in April after the 2022 show was moved to last June. (For 2024 the show will be held its traditional dates of January 25-28). While the number of exhibitors appeared to be slightly lower than in past years due to less time between shows than the usual 12 months, the show was still packed with music manufacturers and musicians from around the world.

For NAMM 2023, there were 1,200 exhibitors representing 3,500 different brands and 46,711 attendees visited the show.  this compares to the record number of attendees in 2020, 115,301, right before Covid shut down the world.

The usual dj equipment manufactures represented this year including Pioneer DJ, Hercules and Numark. One of our favorite items we saw this year was a Chauvet DJ bubble machine that sent out smoke filled bubbles!

In addition, the Phase turntable controller is a neat way of djing without actually needing needles on the turntables! Rear more about Phase here.

We are looking forward to returning to NAMM in 2024 to see what new and exciting DJ equipment is introduced!
