New Chicago Venue ‘RADIUS’ Launches in February with Dillon Francis + Carl Cox!

A new music venue, RADIUS, is set to open in the East Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago in early 2020. The first set of shows beginning at the end of this February include electronic music DJ/producer Dillon Francis, techno legend Carl Cox and future house producer Tchami. Tickets can be purchased here tomorrow, Friday the 13th, at noon (CST) to see these artists at the new RADIUS!

The 55,000 square foot music venue that was previously an old steel factory will have a capacity of up to 3,800. The space will be equipped with a D&B KSL sound system, a mezzanine for VIPs, artist lounges, an outdoor area and nine full-service bars. A 10,000 square foot event space named ‘Cermak Hall’ is within RADIUS with its own entrance, bar and stage. The space was created as a pre and post-event area with drinks as well as food.

RADIUS’ operator and owner, Nick Karounos, had the following to say regarding his new music venue:

“We were looking for a scalable, multi-purpose venue space to house a state-of-the-art concert facility with modern art and design elements at the forefront, and we’ve created it with RADIUS. This project has been 4 years in the making and we are beyond excited to show Chicago and the rest of the world what we have built for music lovers of all genres.”
