While the pandemic has inexorably left the festival community in a rut this year, Insomniac Events is sure to bounce back in 2021 with EDC and their latest venture, Day Trip. Head honcho Pasquale Rotella took to social media to announce the house-focused one-day festival to take place June 3, 2021 at Pier 46 on LA’s waterfront.
“Finding new venues in LA is never easy, but for July 3rd we’ve locked in a BEAUTIFUL one— Pier 46 at the LA Waterfront! I’m stoked to announce #DayTripFestival,” Rotella wrote. “It’s a place to soak in the sun, breathe in the ocean air & dance together at multiple stages of house music— complete with an epic fireworks display over the Pacific Ocean.”
In addition to live performances from some of house music’s biggest names (TBA), the event will offer gourmet food trucks and craft cocktails, and close out the night with a fireworks display over the panoramic ocean views of Cabrillo Beach and San Pedro Bay.
