Nile Rodgers Produces ‘Fold Festival’ on Aug 4th/5th just outside New York!

CHIC guitarist, producer, and Grammy award winning composer, Nile Rodgers, is hosting a two day event called ‘Freak Out Let’s Dance’ (FOLD) Festival at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, Long Island this Tuesday, August 4th and Wednesday, August 5th.

The all star lineup over the two nights features music legends Duran Duran, Beck, Chaka Khan, Janelle Monàe, Keith Urban, and Pharrell Williams sharing the stage with Rodgers and his band CHIC. DJ Magazine will be hosting the DJ Tent where artists like EC Twins, Lea Luna, The Martinez Brothers, and Q-Tip will be mixing. The Suffolk Theater in downtown Riverhead will be hosting the official FOLD Festival after party from 11pm to 4am.

Rodgers is co-producing the FOLD festival with music industry veteran Michael Ostin and Peter Herman of Nile Rodgers Productions. “I’ve worked with Nile for over 16 years,” says Peter Herman. “We have created, performed and produced hundreds of concerts and festivals worldwide. I am thrilled to now co-produce The Nile Rodgers FreakOut! Festival® with Nile and Michael Ostin. Additionally, I have the great pleasure to be working with the awesome Town of Riverhead and to be a part of this culturally cool environment.”
