NYC’s famed house and techno club Output set to close after NYE

In somewhat surprising news, famed NYC house and techno club Output is set to close after their NYE party with John Digweed and Tara Brooks.

The club which opened in 2013, has blamed the closure on changing market conditions as well as the hot Brooklyn real estate market which has seen high rent increases recently.

The recent arrival of the Brooklyn Mirage with its much larger occupancy may have played a part as well in terms of bookings.

The club made a statement on Facebook regarding the closure:
