Novice DJs who are interested in learning about a career as a professional DJ can now sign up for the Electronic Music Academy. Not only having the latest in production software and hardware is needed to becoming a professional musician these days, but education and guidance are also valuable tools.
Legendary producer and DJ, Paul Oakenfold, is the man behind the DJ camp-like program at the Los Angeles Recording School. The Electronic Music Academy’s courses run 5 straight days starting on May 28th. Students will be taught by experts in each of their specific fields in over a dozen classes that will include When And How To Find An Agent, Pro Logic Introduction, Online Presence –Marketing Your Brand, and Working With Sounds, Stems, and Seeds. Students will also attend mentoring and Q&A sessions with Oakenfold as well as other electronic music industry honchos.
Oakenfold stated the following recently about his new Academy: “It’s not just for the young generation. It’s for anyone who wants to learn about all aspects of electronic music…and more.”
The tuition price is a hefty $2,500, but the price is nominal if it will take an artist’s career to the next level. If you’re interested in enrolling at the Electronic Music Academy, then you can register now here.
