In a surprising and welcome move, Porter Robinson (as Virtual Self) will play the opening set of his own Second Sky festival in Oakland next weekend. To see a major artist not close out their own festival is a refreshing move, intended to get attendees to arrive early and check out all of the talent on the bill rather than arriving late just for the headliner.
Other talent on the bill includes Porter’s good friend Madeon, Cashmere Cat, Nina Las Vegas and more.
