Legendary progressive house dj Sasha received earlier this month a honorary doctorate in music from Bangor University.
Raised in Bangor, Sasha played many shows at venues in Bangor as well as at the university’s student union including most recently in November 2021.
Sasha spoke of the awarding:
“I didn’t expect to come back to Bangor University to be picking up a degree since it was the place where I did my very first gig in the Students’ Union and it’s taken me around the world!”
