Solomun is back with a new single, “Raider on the Storm,” teaming up once again with German vocalist Inéz. The track is out now everywhere and arrives on the heels of “Rumpta,” his summer-defining collaboration with Skrillex. Fans actually got a preview of this one months earlier — Inéz joined Solomun on stage for two sold-out shows at London’s Alexandra Palace back in February, giving the crowd a live glimpse of the track before its official release.
This isn’t the first time these two have worked together. Inéz originally appeared on Solomun’s “Tuk Tuk” as one half of ÄTNA, a track that pulled in 25 million streams and became a highlight of his 2021 album ‘Nobody Is Not Loved.’ “Raider on the Storm” continues that creative thread but takes it somewhere fresh — a production defined by atmosphere, with Inéz’s vocals anchoring it throughout. It’s built for the kind of late-night moment that sticks with you well after the song ends.
The track structure follows a familiar Solomun blueprint: he lays down the groove solo before Inéz enters, and from there the two build toward a substantial payoff together.
