Stereosonic music festival attendee dies due to drug overdose 

A woman dies and another is in an induced coma after attending the Stereosonic music festival in Sydney.Another woman, 22, is in an induced coma in hospital after going to the Stereosonic festival, where almost 70 people were charged with drug offences.

The 25-year-old, from Oyster Bay, was taken from the festival to Concord Hospital, where she later died.

“It’s been reported at this time a 25-year-old woman has lost her life and we believe is a direct result of a drug overdose,” Assistant Commissioner Frank Mennilli said.
