Today in Korea, the Swedish House Mafia did not show for their eagerly awaited Asian show as part of Ultra Korea.
The cancellation by the supergroup appears to have been foreshadowed by Sebastian Ingrosso skipping his appearance with Steve Angello at XS at the Wynn in Las Vegas this past Saturday night. (For what its worth, Steve Angello replied to a fan on Instagram saying the no show was due to visa/passport issues)
It is unknown the reason for the cancellation and how that may affect other shows booked later this year such as Ultra Europe, Creamfields and the Singapore Grand Prix.
Fans who had bought tickets for Ultra Korea are being refunded in entirety if they had purchased single day tickets and will receive a 1/3 pro-rata refund for 3 day passes.
As music fans we can only hope this weekend is an aberration and future shows will still go off.
